Refund Policy
The core legal reference features — including reading all 395 Articles of the Constitution of India, offline search, and criminal law transition comparisons — are 100% free and are not subject to any billing or charges. This policy applies exclusively to optional in-app subscriptions and Premium feature upgrades.
1. In-App Purchases Handled by Apple & Google
All Premium features (such as multilingual audio narration or unlocked translations) are purchased through standard in-app transactions processed entirely by the Apple App Store (for iOS users) or Google Play Store (for Android users).
Because these transactions are executed directly between you and the respective app store platform, our development team does not receive, store, or manage your billing information (credit cards, UPI, or bank accounts). Under Apple and Google developer terms, third-party developers do not have technical authorization to issue direct monetary refunds to your payment method. All refund determinations and fund disbursements are managed directly by Apple and Google.
2. How to Request a Refund
A. iOS / Apple App Store
Apple manages all in-app purchase refunds under its standardized customer support workflow:
- Visit Apple's official reporting portal at reportaproblem.apple.com ↗.
- Sign in with the Apple ID you used to purchase the subscription.
- Select "I'd like to" > choose "Request a refund" from the drop-down menu.
- Select the reason for your refund request and choose Constitution of India: Updated from your purchase list.
- Submit the request. Apple typically reviews and updates your claim within 24 to 48 hours.
B. Android / Google Play Store
Google Play allows refund requests directly through their app or website:
- Within 48 hours of purchase: Open the Google Play Store app > tap your profile icon at top-right > select Payments & subscriptions > Budget & order history. Find the order, select Request a refund, and follow the instructions.
- Alternatively, navigate online to the Google Play Refund Support Page ↗.
- Google will review the request against their refund guidelines and notify you via email.
3. Cancelling Future Renewals
If you do not wish for your subscription to automatically renew, you can cancel it at any time prior to the renewal date:
- On iPhone/iPad: Open Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions > Constitution of India: Updated > Cancel Subscription.
- On Android: Open Google Play > Profile > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions > Constitution of India: Updated > Cancel Subscription.
Cancelling your subscription stops recurring charges for future billing cycles. You will retain full access to all Premium features until the end of your currently paid billing period.
4. Billing Questions & Support
