About Us
Constitution of India: Updated is a dedicated legal reference and
technology tool created to make India's foundational law, Supreme Court jurisprudence, and statutory legal
education accessible, transparent, and swift for everyone.
Our Mission
Law should not be confined to heavy library volumes or complex, slow subscription portals. Our mission is
to empower advocates, judicial officers, civil services aspirants (UPSC, State PSCs), law students, and
citizens with modern, reliable, and bilingual reference tools directly on their mobile devices.

Terms of Use
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the "Constitution of India: Updated" app
("App", "we", "us"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the
App.
1. What the App Offers
The App provides free access to the Constitution of India and a side-by-side comparison of repealed and
replacement Acts (e.g., IPC → BNS, CrPC → BNSS, Indian Evidence Act → BSA). The underlying legal texts are
public-domain government publications; the App's design, organization, and any original commentary are our
property or licensed to us.
2. Not Legal Advice
Not Legal Advice: Content in the App is provided for general reference and educational
purposes only. It is not legal advice, and it may not reflect the most recent amendments, judicial
interpretations, or state-specific modifications. Always verify against the official Gazette or consult a
qualified legal professional before relying on it for any decision.
3. Accounts
Signing in with Google or Apple is optional and is only required to sync bookmarks across devices and to
unlock Premium features. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You may delete
your account at any time by contacting us.
4. Premium Subscription
Premium features (such as reading in additional languages) may be offered as an auto-renewing
subscription billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Subscription terms, pricing, and
cancellation are managed through your app store account. See our Refund Policy for how refunds are
handled.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the App — including attempting to disrupt its operation, scrape or redistribute
its content at scale, reverse-engineer the app, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
6. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we
are not liable for any damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App, including reliance
on its content.
7. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect
constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information "Constitution of India: Updated" ("App",
"we", "us") collects and how it is used. Reading the Constitution and Compare Acts content does not require
an account.
1. Information We Collect
- Account info: If you choose to sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name,
email address, and profile photo via Firebase Authentication.
- Bookmarks & preferences: Saved articles/sections and settings like font size and
dark mode are stored locally on your device.
- Usage analytics: We use Firebase Analytics to understand how the App is used (screens
viewed, features used, and app opens). This data is tied to an anonymous device identifier and is used
only to improve the App.
- We do not run advertising SDKs in the App.
2. How We Use Information
Account info is used solely to identify you across devices and to unlock Premium features you've
subscribed to. Bookmarks and preferences are used only to personalize your reading experience on your own
device.
3. Third-Party Services
We use Firebase Authentication (Google) to manage sign-in and Firebase Analytics (Google) for usage data.
Premium subscriptions, if purchased, are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. These providers
process data under their own privacy policies.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We only share it with the service providers named above to the
extent needed to operate the App.
5. Data Retention & Deletion
Bookmarks and preferences stay on your device until you clear them or uninstall the App. You can request
deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at contact@constitution.co.in.
6. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from
them.

Refund Policy
The Constitution of India and Compare Acts content in the App are free to read and are
not affected by this policy. This page covers refunds for the optional Premium subscription only.
1. Billing Through Apple & Google
Premium is sold as an auto-renewing subscription processed entirely by the Apple App Store or Google
Play. We do not receive or store your payment details, and we cannot issue refunds directly — all refund
requests and approvals are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies.
2. Requesting a Refund
- iOS/App Store: Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, or Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on
your device.
- Android/Google Play: Open the Google Play app → Menu → Payments & subscriptions →
Budget and orders, and select the order.
3. Cancelling Your Subscription
You can cancel at any time from the same App Store / Google Play settings. Cancelling stops future
renewals; it does not automatically refund the current billing period.
